We all are talking wbout SIRI, the new Iphone addition in iphone 4S which can give you freedom to run the phone by voice command only. Do anything through your voice, make smart search on voice, and finally finding a virtual assistant which recognises your voice and act smartly on it.
Introducing SIRI takes a big leap to send ahead of all competition all smartphone. But there are a very large no of people like Android platform and now they are feeling the heat of not having SIRI.

What you need is to install IRIS from android market and you have known the ways to handle it. If you are using basic android phone you may need some additional apps to back up IRIS. Please check weather you have Google voice search installed in your smartphone. If not it can be easily installed from android market. Additionally you need TTS library, a voice based library to recognise your voice and convert them into meaningful text which you intend to meet.
When you are sure when got this two. Then go to android market to install IRIS.
Normally you need Android 2.1 and higher to run IRIS. Remember IRIS is still in alpha form and need lot more testing. But still its operation is smooth enough and near natural. You need to tap on the big O button to start asking IRIS. Just ask anything, she will reply accordingly. Like “what is the weather in London .” OR “what is pizza?” IRIS is smart enough to catch text and image simultaneously to give you the best answer. Please remember to open your Internet connection when you use IRIS .
Now when you ask IRIS try to make your accent as likely as you selected in your phone English on Google Voice search. Like if your language in phone is set to English (UK) your voice should go like that. Only then IRIS can recognise what you exactly want and can help you out. As IRIS is a artificial Intelligent software, so endless possibility here. Like you can ask IRIS weather it will good to travel in some particular place. Or weather you have any meeting on monday or not. The question possibility is endless and IRIS will always entertain you.
The alpha version is changing and it need improvement also. Still IRIS can’t recognise some words properly. Developers are working on them and soon we expect to have a better version of that. Till then you can at least say that you have something like SIRI on your non iPhone smartphone. Not bad hah!
